Making "Mixed Blessings"

The problem with that idea as a New Years' card, of course, is that most members of our family would prefer to get a picture of Benjamin and Jeremy, not a picture of either of them holding a Ted Nugent album in front of their face.

Another idea I've had bouncing around for years is based on this Simpsons book I got as a gift quite some time ago. It's heavy paper and features cut-out masks of the various characters. I cut a few of them out and decorated my office. What's interesting about the book is its cover.

If you look closely, what you see is that each member of the family is wearing a mask of another member of the family.

So this year I had the idea of combining these two ideas. Benjamin and Jeremy would each pose holding a picture of each other, perfectly aligned in front of their faces.
